There’s something about the La Quinta area that I absolutely love! It’s probably a combination of the sweet desert air and golf course after golf course… One of my absolutely favorite venues, La Quinta Resort & Spa, is known for desert luxury at it’s finest ~ from golf at PGA West, decadent dining and of course, it’s famous spa.
On this beautiful Easter weekend wedding in the desert, I had the privilege of photographing Kim & George’s “vintage” style wedding. This wedding was so much fun, it’s almost challenging to describe. For starters, Kim was a gorgeous bride, adorned with stunning details and full of a contagious joy (that only photos can capture). From the family, to the bridal party and guests, this was an event that will be remembered for many amazing things. For me, listening to Kim & George recite their deep, meaningful vows was truly a touching moment (see detail below).
This weekend was also super fun because I had the joy of working with one of my favorite planners, Holly Schoenke with Simply Sweet Weddings.
