Sarah & Andrew ~ June 18, 2011

I photographed this stunning couple a few weeks ago in Pasadena, CA.  You may recognize them from some of the captivating engagement images I shared in a previous post.  Both the ceremony and reception took place at The Athenaeum University Club on Cal-Tech’s beautiful campus. The Athenaeum is one of my favorite wedding venues; partly because I love the classic old-world Pasadena feel and amazing architecture, but mostly because of the talented people and vendors I get to work with there.

On this toasty, mid-June Saturday, Sarah & Andrew came together as husband and wife. I of course, was honored to capture the “big picture” all the way down to the finest details. I absolutely loved working with this magnetic couple! From my first encounter with them in my studio, to the engagement session and finally their wedding day, they were both a joy to work with. Sarah is bounding with energy and enthusiasm and sweeps Andrew along with her fun spirit! Having an intimate look into their relationship allowed me to capture moments and expressions of their mutual love and adoration for each other.

Also a thank you to the two people that made my job incredibly easy: Dior Chase, Private Events for The Athenaeum and Wedding Planner, Samantha Sisk:)
