Introducing Baby Elyse! Get ready for some serious CUTIE-ness. Just a few weeks ago I photographed Melissa’s baby bump, and now their precious little girl is here. Of all the types of sessions and opportunities I have, I think newborns rank right near the top. Getting invited to document and capture the first fleeting moments of a person’s life is a significant honor! A big thank you to parents Melissa & Bryan for their contiued trust in me to capture these incredible moments  🙂

On an incredibly action packed weekend in June recently, I geared up and headed down toward Santa Ana to photograph Lindsay & Bill’s wedding at the Bowers Museum. This location offered fantastic opportunities for creativity and inspiration! From the very first meeting, I’ve really enjoyed the journey with these two… getting to know them better throughout the planning process, their Balboa Island engagement session and all the way to the wedding.  This day was filled with joy, laughter and and the occasional stranglehold directed towards me  😉

Take some time and enjoy checking out a few of my favorite images below!

Beautiful couple, beautiful locations! You simply can’t go wrong with that combination. I photographed Caroline & Nico’s wedding at the incredibly ornate St. Sophia Greek Cathedral in Los Angeles and their party at the beautiful Los Angeles River and Garden Center nearby. The wedding day journey began in Pasadena, where I captured stunning bridal details, humorous moments (see the “Bridesmaids” image below) and an incredibly emotional first look. From there we made the voyage into L.A. for the vows and then weaved our way through L.A.’s infamous traffic to the venue. This was such a fun wedding for me! Everyone from the Bride & Groom on down were there to have a great time. Please enjoy a few of my faves below!

Say hi to the Brown family! I was able to spend a few moments with this beautiful family before they hopped on a plane and relocated to the “land down under.” Although it was a brief encounter, I walked away with an incredible sense of the love that Katie & Brandon have for their precious kiddos. I hope you get the same feeling while sifting through some fun ones below!

Rolling hills, regal estates and a world class golf course are the foundation of the stately Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA. It was in the setting that I photographed Laura & Chris’ stunning June wedding recently. I know I say it a lot, but I truly love what I do! Throughout the process of our first meeting, our engagement sessions (yes, there were 2, sorta) and all the way up to their big day… it was an absolute blast getting to know this amazing couple. Please take a few minutes and check out a few images of this gorgeous day. Oh, and if you’re into iconic classic cars, you’ll want to see their SWEET “Getaway” ride  😉

I remember when Laurie contacted me for the first time about her wedding… BEFORE she even booked the venue and solidified her date no less! Her enthusiasm and excitement was incredible. Throughout the whole journey of Laurie & Reid’s engagement, from their stunning E-sesh in San Francisco right up to their wedding day, it’s been an absolute pleasure getting to know them better on a personal level.

When this gorgeous Saturday came to pass a couple weeks ago, I was absolutely PYCHED to capture this special day… and all the emotion, excitement, and joy within it. I started shooting at Laurie’s parents house in Oak Park, capturing ornate details and the “making” of the bride. From there it was off to Padre Serra Parish in Camarillo for the vows and then lastly we setup camp at the lush Hartley Botanica in Camarillo, CA. There are weddings that are just plain fun. This was one of those weddings… anytime you have a bridal party exceeding 20 people, you know you’re in for a good time!

Please enjoy a few glimpses into this lovely day  🙂
